Professor Germán Creamer was the keynote speaker in the first meeting of the Global Association of Risk Professionals - GARP chapter Ecuador in August 2, 2011 at the ESPAE Graduate School of Management. His presentation was entitled: "An Intelligent Model of Portfolio Optimization Considering Risk and the Investors' Perspective." During the conference he was interviewed for a special section "Lideres" (means leaders) of El Comercio the main Ecuadorean newspaper: The article "GERMÁN CREAMER: ‘La crisis en los países del mediterráneo tiene incidencia en Ecuador’ (The Mediterranean crisis also has an impact on Ecuador)" article is available here. Additionally, professor Creamer was also interviewed by the Buro de Analisis Informativo (Bureau of Informative Analysis) for several articles about cybersecurity (1, 2) in the financial system.
